The preliminary and concept design of the road intersection was prepared for the purpose of solving the big traffic jam in the entrance of Dahuk City in Iraq. Topographic surveying of the existing intersection was performed, and 3 concept design alternatives were proposed to the Client. 3D Computer Images and Models of alternatives were prepared. The designs contained multiple tunnels and bridges.
Detail studies were made on the selected design. Quantity surveying is performed to prepare the Bill of Quantities. The drawings and the Bill of Quantities were used as the Tender Documents for the construction tender of the Project.
